About this assignment

Cat lover(s) who enjoy spending time with cats and who will look after and respect our house and possessions. Would suit those who like nature as well as exploring towns and cities.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feeding the cats twice a day and making sure they are home and happy. Charging and putting on a GPS tracker collar for one of our cats as he got lost before. May need to go and look for him, but unlikely.
Putting out the bins, watering plants inside and outside. Leaving the house as found when you finish.

What are the good features of the property and location

Spacious house and excellent location - quiet with beautiful views and setting over the ouseburn valley, yet only 20 minutes walk into Newcastle city centre. House has comfortable king-sized bed, walk in showers and a bath and lots of space to relax. We also have an office space that could be used for those working remotely.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We will be in Australia so a long way away! We will want to hear from you about how the cats are doing every few days if possible via WhatsApp.
If anything happened to the cats you would need to be able to transport them to their vets.
The cats may bring in animals - we will leave with collars to use but pet sitters need to be prepared to deal with offerings.
