I simply need an honest, even keeled and fearless person that commit to 5/18/2026 for a couple of months… until July 30, 2026. I have an 80 mile kayak paddle (fundraising event) and will get some work time in afterwards.

All the comforts of home...fully and tastefully furnished...Wifi...safe, close-knit Tico neighborhood (everybody knows everybody!!)...
New, hot outdoor shower with extraordinary views. (No shower curtains needed here!!! Completely and totally private!)

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

PLEASE LOVE CATS.

You don't need to be "jungle savvy"... though, it helps.
We DO have insects, snakes, (just carry a flashlight at night), wildlife galore, and a PURA VIDA attitude and lifestyle.
Leave drama and city livin behind.
The house is merely 150 meters from the main road &:bus stop...though a hidden, private and safe gem.
If you don't like calm, sunshine, incredible birds & flora, sweet cool air at night / 80° during the day, love neighbors not too far away, yet far enough...then this is not for you.

The time I need someone here will include some rainy season weeks. There are rain curtains for the house, which keeps it toasty, warm & dry.
The beach is a 20 min drive (1/2 hr bus) down the hill and if it's rainy at the house it can be perfectly sunny at beach!
