About this assignment
we are looking for a person or a couple to stay in our house to look after our cat and plants.
I work online so I spend alot of time with my fur baby. The most important thing for me is to have animal loving house sitters!
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
My cat Mia is an indoor pet. She is really easy to look after! She just needs to be fed and likes to have company for at least a few hours a day.
What are the good features of the property and location
Our duplex apartment is ideally located in a secure building about 100 meters from the beach and close to the main shopping area and bars and restaurants.
It is a new build, around 70m2. with a 10m2 terrace facing the sun. the train station is 10min walk away and you can be in the center of Barcelona in just 40min!
We are on the ground floor with an alarm system.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
If you love cats this assignment is very easy. Mia does have days when she vomits a little bit. She is 14 years old so quite senior!

Lovely pets with lovely owners
We stayed at Nisa and Steve's apartment for 9 days in early June 2021 and we had a great time! They were super welcoming and responsive, showed us around their town and gave some tips for restaurants and activities, that are available locally beyond just going to the beach (which is in a walking distance too!). If you have a bike, it's easy to explore a bit further and a day trip to Barcelona is a short train ride away. The pets are adorable and easy to manage! We were accepted straight away by Laika, the happy and friendly dog - who will show you around if you let her lead the way, Mia, the cuddly and elegant lady cat, and Muffin, the gorgeous blue-eyes Tom cat, who was a bit shy at the beginning, but opened up just before we had to leave. Everything went smoothly and we are hoping to be back one day!

Loveliest owners with cutest animals
It was such a pleasure and fun to have met Nisa and her sister, Tara! They're very kind, always smiling and super helpful. We took care of Nisa's graceful & sweet-eyed dog and 2 funny and independent cats (serious Muffin and quirky Mia) plus Tara's Pedro (the happiest dog ever), Diego (a mega cuddly cat) and Manuela (a rather reserved lady rabbit :) It was a super relaxing time for us and we got attached to the animals very much. You're going to have a wonderful time whether sitting for one of the sisters or both.

A great experience with the animals and very nice hosts!
Nisa and Tara are very lucky, cause they have the best dogs one can imagine! They are kind and friendly, as their owners are:), and very devoted and dependent on a human (in a good way). You will not see much of the cats and the bunny there, but they are nice, too. We enjoyed staying in this place a lot and we are definetely coming back if our travel plans allow us to do so. ?Thank you very much for your hospitality and your great animals!
