About this assignment
We are looking for a solo traveler or a couple. We will prioritize reliability, responsibility, and good communication skills. Patience and experience with cats would be a plus.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feed twice a day, clean the litter box, play and cuddle our cats. Water the plants and, care about the apartament, keeping it safe, fresh and ventilated.
What are the good features of the property and location
Our flat is situed in a residential and quiet area in the west part of Florence, with a nice view of the Florentine countryside. It is easily connected with public transports to get to the city center (15 minutes with the tram).The flat has been renoveted, the kitchen is in a big open space, we have two bedrooms, a modern bathroom, one small terrace and one veranda, for a total of 75 mq.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
You have to be patient with cats and not be afraid to handle some conflict. Both cats are good natured and very kind with people. They are vey differents and both adorable.
Can I bring my own pets?

Superb house sit in Florence
This was one of our best house sits we ever did. Laurence went above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need and even invited us to one of her pasta cooking lessons the day before she left for her holidays. Her apartment is not directly downtown but close to a tram that takes you into the city or you can use her bikes (20 min ride). Grocery shops are in walking distance and even several parks for a stroll. Her cats Milly and Mamy are super super nice, very adorable and like to sleep all day :). Whenever you get the chance to house sit these two - go for it. Laurence, we can't thank you enough to have had the opportunity meeting you and your 2 cats - we will forever remember our stay in Florence.

Very nice meeting !
very nice meeting with Laurence, we took care of her 2 adorable and playful cats, in a cozy apartment, very close to the tram leading to the historic center of Florence and the shops. and then we participated in a pasta class hosted by Laurence. Loving cats and amazing warm hospitality!!!
Staying at Laurence place was a travel dream come true. Mammy and Milley are absolute sweethearts. Laurance has her own cooking lessons and was so nice to show me how to cook ravioli and gnocchi from scratch. She was very clear communicating her travel plans and always kept me in the loop. We were able to spent few evenings together and I really enjoy the conversations with her. She went above and beyond to make sure I have everything I need and always was there to help when I asked her a question. If you ever have a chance to cat sitter for her do not hesitate. You would find a new friend in Florance :-)
