About this assignment
A thoughtful, caring and clean person and a lover of cats. We prefer a sitter who is politically liberal and comfortable maintaining a vegetarian kitchen.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
We need someone to spend nights at our home, do some plant watering and keep an eye on Lulu, a very sweet and independent cat who spends most of her time outdoors.
What are the good features of the property and location
It's a bright lovely house in central Austin with a huge yard in a great residential neighborhood, walking distance to supermarket, coffee houses restaurants and farmer's market.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Lulu does not a litter box anhave d she goes in and out through a cat door throughout the day (and night), spending much of the day outside in our and neighboring yards.
Can I bring my own pets?

Organized and Peaceful
We had such a good time getting to know Jimmy (the human) and Lulu (the cat). Jimmy gave us detailed, fantastic instructions letting us know what a day in the life of Lulu would look like. Lulu is independent; she likes to sleep in the bed (some nights) and patrol the neighborhood (some nights). She is very vocal so it is easy to know what she wants. Their home is lovely, on a peaceful street. It was ideal for working from home (good space, good wifi). Jimmy was excellent with quick replies as questions came up and flexible about scheduling. He knows several neighbors well and has help from Rachel (Lulu's other human who visits) so we had a nice back up network if need be.
