About this assignment

Mature person or couple to house sit and be responsible for feeding our dog and cat. You will have your own two bedroom farmhouse with all facilities.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Be on site every night. Feed the cat "Sooty" in the morning and again in the evening. The dog "Roki" (30kg) is fed in the evening. His usual routine is to be taken for a walk about 9am and again about 5pm in the afternoons. He is good on a lead. He sleeps outdoors mostly.

What are the good features of the property and location

Two traditional Spanish houses, the original farm house and what used to be the animal shed, set in 4,000m2 of agricultural land with dog proof fencing and automatic gate system. Linea direct security systems for both houses plus camera security system. Large area of lawns and an outdoor barbeque with tables and chairs under a 100 year old walnut tree. 16m x 3m swimming pool. Our local village is one kilometre away and there are many bars and restaurants close by.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Guarantee that if accepted you will arrive and stay for the necessary period asked for. We would expect you to make full use of all the facilities in the guest house and in the gardens and just enjoy your visit.
