We have several indoor plants which will need to be watered while we are out of town for a week. I will providing a watering schedule.
We also have 2 pets who will need daily attention such as feeding. The dog is a 14 year old basset hound who is deaf and doesn't require walks. She has plenty of fenced in yard space to roam around, though she does bark when she wants food and attention. The cat is 3 years old and very relaxed. He will require his cat box to be maintained plus daily feeding.
- Water house plants
- Feed dog and cat in the morning and evening
- Make sure dog and cat have clean water daily
- Clean cat box daily
- Clean up after yourself if you use the kitchen or fireplace
We own a 2 story home in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, with Crestone being the closest town (roughly 15 minutes away). The house was recently built in 2019 and has a soaker tub and mountain views.
The home is yours to enjoy and we will provide fresh towels and linens. The 2nd floor deck looks out over the San Luis Valley. The kitchen features a butcher block island and stove with 2 ovens. We ask that if you use any of the kitchen appliances or conveniences, please clean up after yourself so when we return, the home is in the original state we left it in. The wifi is very stable so if you work remotely, you are able to work with ease. We have a desk available and ethernet connection as well.
Within 1/2 mile, you have a creek to walk along and back entrance into the Sand Dunes National Park. You can see the sand dunes within 1/2 mile walk of the property. It's very quiet and peaceful, so plan to bring any amenities with you since the closest town is 15 minutes away.
We live in a fairly remote location, though there are 2 grocery stores within 15 minutes of the home. Neighbors are not close by, but we will leave contact information for those around. It's a safe area and will be very quiet during your stay. Our 14 year old dog is deaf and sometimes barks when she wants to go upstairs, since she is not able to climb them on her own anymore.
