Lovely stay on the Coast of Oregon Nov 5th, 2026-Dec 6th,2027

About this assignment

I will be leaving the country from November 5th until December 6th. I have no pets only plants.
I am looking for a person who would like to stay on the north coast of Oregon in a home overlooking the bay. We may get storms and I seek someone who has good communication skills who can let me know if there is property damage.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Basically just watering plants and checking over the property for storm damage. I will be covering my raised beds with tarps and high winds could disturb these. Covering them back up would be menial.
We haven't had any problems for the past 20+ years, but you never know.

What are the good features of the property and location

I live on a quiet street with a bay view. I am 1.5 miles from downtown Astoria a town rich in history. There are many great restaurants and art galleries. We are 5 miles from the largest state park in Oregon and 5 miles from the Lewis and Clark Historical area. Shopping is 1.5 to 3 miles away. The beach is 6 miles from here.
There is a master bedroom and a kitchen filled with anything you need to cook.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

I need someone who has good communication skills and is willing to stay for the month. Coming a day or so early would be nice to orient you. There are no other requirements other than watering the plants and basically looking over the property if there is a storm.

Can I bring my own pets?
