About this assignment

I really just need someone to be in the house, water the plants, feed Eliott my very friendly cat twice a day,oversee the pool... someone who is clean and tidy would be a bonus:)

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The house is clean and well maintained, so not much to do. So it's really just to keep an eye on the property in general as well as feeding the cat

What are the good features of the property and location

The house and the 3 adjacent holiday apartments (closed to bookings whilst I'm away), are located on the edge of a quiet village, Ventenac-Cabardes, +/- 10 kms from Carcassonne.

Lots of walks and things to do in the area. I can introduce you to many of the locals and neighbours who are always on hand if needed.
There are walking groups, gym club, tennis club and various other grous there is a small "bar associatif", library, post office and small general store. People in general are friendly and helpful.


Pending agreement by my insurer, I would leave you the use of my car as you will need "wheels" .

Just added this as I didn't think of it earlier, I have a piano if there are any musicians out there!

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Preferably a French speaker. Lots of beautiful walks, close to Carcassonne, friends on hand if needed and of course I ll only be a phone call away
