Experience of cats and their care. Able to water plants and keep the place clean. Someone who is happy and comfortable to take Syd to the vet if needed. Speaking Spanish is an advantage but not necessary. Independent and reliable.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Caring for Syd who sleeps most of the time. Giving her a tablet twice a day. Not difficult to hide in a treat and she loves food. She has an indoor litter tray as well as using the garden. Watering the plants inside and in the garden.

What are the good features of the property and location

Its location is great based on southern Spain not far from Estepona and Duquesa ports. We have a communal pool and the beach is 30 mins walk. Malaga is 80km and Gibraltar 30 mins drive. The apartment is very cosy with aircon and heating. Wifi is 5G and reliable and we have the 2nd bedroom set up as an office. We have fantastic neighbours.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Syd is 18+ and is slow. She is not very cuddly unless she is cold then she might sit beside you. Her litter tray needs to be cleaned regularly. Nearest bus is 30 mins walk away and shops about 40 mins walk.
