House and lively terrier in Clevedon, UK

About this assignment

Responsible, non-smoking single or couple, to look after our lively terrier while we are away, and water some plants. A dog-lover who likes walks, play, and cuddles on the sofa, but who can deal with a feisty terrier!

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Walk our dog for an hour twice a day, feed her twice a day, and play with her. (She can however be left on her own for up to 4 hours.)
Water some plants in the house and garden.

What are the good features of the property and location

Clevedon is a Victorian seaside town with a beautiful pier, 12 miles from Bristol and 22 miles from Bath. The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen/diner with dishwasher, utility room with washing machine, living room with Smart TV and PVR, garden room, and study. Wifi. Off street car parking. We have a sea view and sunny private garden. It's 5 minutes walk to the seafront, or to shops, restaurants and bars, but the house is very quiet. The bus to Bristol stops 50m away.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Must be able to look after a lively dog who wants lots of attention.
Must stay overnight every night, to settle the dog at night and let her out in the morning.
The dates are for you to arrive the day before we leave, for introductions and explanations, and leave the day after we fly home, but we would also consider an extra day or two.
We can collect you from Bristol airport or train station.
Subject to insurance you may be able to use our car - our dog can take car trips.
Ideally you would take us to and from Bristol airport (8 miles away).
