Greenville, North Carolina - House and Cats - quiet college town and daytrips to the beach

About this assignment

We're looking for a reliable person to stay in our comfortable 3-bedroom house in Greenville, NC, USA, and take care of our two friendly cats from June 4 to July 30, 2026. Start and end dates can be a bit flexible, if needed.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

You'll need to feed the cats, scoop their litter, and give them lots of love. Besides that, you'll just need to take in the mail, water plants, and generally look after the house.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our air-conditioned house is in the Elmhurst/Englewood neighborhood, within walking distance to the East Carolina University campus. We're also close to several parks and the Greenville Greenway trails. We can offer you the use of a bicycle during the stay. We have fiber internet, many streaming services (Netflix/Hulu/HBO Max/Prime/Apple TV+), a shady screened porch, laundry, dishwasher, and a guest room with a queen bed. And our cats are extremely snuggly.

Greenville is a quiet college town, located about 45 minutes from I-95 and 90 minutes from the beach or from Raleigh/Durham.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We need you to be reliable and communicative, and to send us updates on the cats by text or email. It's possible to get around town by bike or walking, but you'll probably find it easier with a car.
