About this assignment
We are looking for someone reliable and respectful that will take care of Kumo and water some plants.
We’d prefer someone with references but we can consider even first timers
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Sitter will have to cuddle Kumo (if ever he’ll come close)mainly in the morning and feed him twice a day.
Keep the house in order and water the plants in the evening (not every day btw)
What are the good features of the property and location
Our home has a beautiful terrace, a good light,fast wifii, (screen and projector if you have a laptop with you),bathtub,well equipped kitchen.
It’s close to a big park and to The Via Francigena,an ancient road in the middle
Of a green area which is lovely for walks.
It’s in a really quiet area but you’ll have 3 buses to get you downtown and you’ll have grocery store/Pharmacy and other useful shops in walking distance anyway
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
We’d prefer to have no party and a non-smoker or at least someone that would not smoke indoor.
Getting to the center requires about 45mins.Is perfect if you work from home but still want to explore the city

Amazing stay with Kumo and family
We spent a wonderful month and a half at Beatrice and Fili's house taking care of their lovely cat, Kumo. He is a very independent cat, often doing his own thing along with a grey cat from the neighborhood who visited us every day. However, he really enjoys good cuddles and sometimes sleeps at the foot of the bed with us. Beatrice and Fili are oustanding hosts. They were super nice to us. They picked us up from the airport when we arrived, recommended several places to visit in Rome, and did everything possible to help us with whatever we needed. We got to spend two days with them when we arrived, sharing meals and good conversations. We hope to stay in touch with them and cross paths again someday. Thank you very much again for everithing! The house is located about 45/60 minutes by bus from the historic center of Rome. There are several shops and supermarkets nearby, making it easy to buy anything you need. It's very luminous, comfortable and we had enough space to accommodate our stuff and work We had an amazing stay exploring Rome and its surroundings and highly recommend their home to anyone who has the opportunity.

A magical place with beautiful hosts
From the first message we exchanged I was hoping I will get to know these special & lovely home owners. The care, simplicity, authenticity and Kindness were like a breath of fresh air and throughout the sit they didn't stop surprising me with their amazing attitude, generosity and patience. Kumo (the ginger cat) is amazing and I couldn't wait for the morning cuddles he graced me with (usually keeps quite to him self other than feeding times). The house is a green haven in Rome. It's in a quite and family oriented neighborhood and very often I forgot I am in one of the busiest cities in Italy. Close to public transport and every grocery shop you will need. I even registered to the awesome gym 6 minutes from their house and enjoyed every minute of it great value for money. What left the mark was Filli & Bea's unique and inspiring attitude for life. I am so grateful to have met them, this was a place to recharge and accumulat more love in one's heart. Till out paths cross again, thank you so much for an amazing "home".

Wonderful stay with Kumo
I had a wonderful stay with Kumo at Beatrice's home. My daughter and I stayed for 6 amazing weeks at Beatrice's home and enjoyed every min. Beatrice was a wonderful host! She was very prompt with communication and answered all my questions prior to the visit. The night I flew in, she prepared an amazing dinner on her patio. She was kind enough to take me into the city center and helped me figure out Rome's transportation system, which was extremely useful. I can't say enough about her hospitality. Her home is very clean with an amazing outside space that was very peaceful. Its in an ideal location, just 10min to the city center by bus and close to several parks in the area. Kumo is full of personality and loved coming in at night to hang out when the temperatures cooled off. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Beatrice and Kumo!
