Good morning, I am an elderly UK-US dual citizen single man and I live in my own house in the Villages of Florida. I am considering exchanging my house with a house-sitter from the the UK for vacation periods, or, renting my house in Florida on a temporary basis while I am on holiday in the UK.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Light back garden weeding and sweeping once a month.
Checking my house for normal wear and tear.
Checking my Air Conditioning Filter and my Gas Furnace.
Check garden and windows in the event of occasional storms.
Looking after the golf cart basic maintenance.
Contacting local contractors/handyman if needed for any problems that may arise.

What are the good features of the property and location

Close to Golf courses shopping. My house is small and cozy and in a very clean and quiet neighborhood. 20 minutes drive via golf cart to hospitals.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Honesty and integrity and dependability. References Required. I expect mutually agreed responsibility to maintain my home as if it was their home and the same would apply to me while staying in their home.
