Hidden gem specious home with large fenced yard with water and preserve views in South Florida near West Palm Beach

About this assignment

Dog lovers who want to spend time playing with dogs and walking them in the a gated, quiet community with walking+biking trails, clubhouse, tennis, basketball and peddle ball courts, a gym and huge lap pool and wading pool next to numerous national and state parks park forest trails next to our house and outside our large fenced backyard with river and wildlife refuge views. We have three fun-loving and playful dogs.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed our three dogs--An old rescued Belgian shepherd (15), a blind rescued Calahoula (7 or so) , and a little English terrier (5)--three a day, in the morning, afternoon and evening let them out in the backyard to enjoy and sunset and fresh air. Talk and play with them when you feel like it. We also have bird, a Sun Conure, that is about 15 years old. She loves to listen to music and dance with you--moving from side to side. She needs an almond and a slice of apple or orange every morning.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our house is located in one of the most desirable areas just off the Interstate 95, hidden in a quiet, gated community with all the amenities that you need--bike, running and walking trails, swimming pool, fitness center, large club house and library, lined with trees and foliage all around our 1/3 acre lot in our small community where no one is allowed to subdivide our 1-acre lot. Beaches and numerous national and state parks with miles and miles of walking trails are less than 30 minutes away. Palm Beach Gardens and West Palm Beach are 30 minutes away. Quaint and historic Beach towns and boating heavens Stuart, Hope Sound and Jupiter dot the Atlantic shoreline with the arts, museums, concerts, parks, trails and international restaurants.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

That they respect our kosher home and use the meat silverware and dishes if they are not vegetarians. That they will not leave the pets for more than six hours at a time. Our blind dog needs to be watched when on out walking on leash to avoid his running into obstacles and trees.
