Testimonials

We were happy to extend our original dates from 2+ weeks in December to also cover 3+ weeks in January. This area on the SE edge of the Canadian Rockies is lovely, though a bit more difficult to navigate over the winter when those negative 30-degree farenheits begin! Laurel's home is comfortable, very colorful and showcases interests from around the world. One can find something(s) new every day to view and contemplate! The two doggies, Fitzn and Kiki, are characters all their own and Edie The Cat is as cats tend to be ... :-) ... While some sites are closed for the winter, so long as temperatures don't get too frigid and one has appropriate winter clothing, there is much to experience here. Historical sites and interpretive centers and museums and .... more. Plenty of hiking and one can even walk along the Crowsnest Pass Heritage Route from one end of the set of five villages to the other end! Turtle Mountain, Crowsnest Mountain and more are smack dab in your face! And ... the neighbors were great! For a winter adventure, it worked.
