Someone who really loves animals and would enjoy spending time with them. It would be important to communicate and make sure everyone is safe and cared for.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

To feed and take care of the animals. To administer medication reliably and on a schedule. There may be some watering to do for the plants. Take in the mail. Please keep the house clean as well.
In the summer, outdoor watering may be needed depending on the weather.

What are the good features of the property and location

I live in Oregon City. It is safe and quiet. It is a historical and fun place to explore. I am less than 2 hours to the Oregon coast or to Mt.Hood.
My home is comfortable and easy to care for. There is a master bedroom with a California king bed, two bathrooms, and a big kitchen. It is an open floor plan. There is a good wi-fi connection. I have an extensive garden. I have lots of different kinds of plantings, including some rare conifers. I love plants. It requires little care but it certainly brings in the birds and wildlife.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

They would want to feel comfortable with dogs of all sizes and with cats. My animals are generally quiet, calm, and easy to care for, but experience with dogs, especially, would be important. One of my dogs has seizures, so his medication schedule is essential. Experience with seizures would be helpful. My dogs all get along, but this is ensured by a feeding routine and understanding dog behaviour. If you have ever wondered what it is like to care for rescues and dogs that have had difficult backgrounds, this is for you. Attention to detail would be important. They are all wonderful and loving, but definitely have different desires for interaction. My cat is loving and very comfortable with the dogs. He has his own room to be in if he wants.
