About this assignment

We are a family of 6 (4 kids) and we will go visit our family in the Netherlands.

We recently adopted a street cat. Every night he sleeps inside and during the day he comes and goes. He loves to cuddle.

The rabbit has his own space on the top terrace. He needs food, water and a clean cage. He is very curious, but does not like to be touched.

The snake won't need any care during that week.

We hope you will treat our animals and house with love and respect, so we can go on vacation and come back without stress.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

- feed the rabbit 2 times a day.
- clean the cage when necesary.
- let the cat in and out
- feed the cat and clean the litter box.
- keep the house clean and water the plants

What are the good features of the property and location

- close to the beach, a 15/20 min walk
- trainstation 10/15min walk
- supermarket close by
- 3 bedroom, 3 floor house
- 2x terrace
- fiber internet (+/-200mbps)
- free parking and always close to the house
- 1h from Barcelona and 30min from Tarragona

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Beautiful family

I was fortunate enough to mind Danielle and Edgar's house for 18 days. Looking after Jade and Negro was very entertaining, they both love humans and would chase every human during our walks for cuddles. They are both very sweet. Especially, Jade is such a sweetheart, despite being considered a PPP (perro potencialmente peligroso) by the Spanish law. Nothing could be farther from reality. I also had a good time with the lovely rabbits in the yard. They are very playful and mischievous sometimes. Combing Aisaka (angora rabbit) required some skills :), but it was fun. I did not have much contact with Ian, the snake, but I can tell he is not aggressive at all. I kept in touch with Danielle regularly, and she was very instructive and very responsive whenever I needed help. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, only a few minutes walking from the beach. Supermarkets and a nice market are about 15-20 minutes walk. All in all, it was a lovely experience and I would recommend it to anyone.
