Catsitter in Utrecht for December 9 to 30

About this assignment

I'm looking for house sitters who love animals and are comfortable (and able) to stay in the house most of the time. My cat, Zuco, is the sweetest cat ever but he is really clingy and doesn't handle being alone well. He has to be okay being left alone a workingday, and on occasion a whole night (but he will be extremely happy when you get back), but other than that he really likes people in the house that he can cuddle with and be close too.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Mostly looking after the cat. Zuco needs a lot of affection and attention. He'll never be far away, if I'm working (usually from the living room) he will lay on the table next to me and he always demands to sleep in bed.

What are the good features of the property and location

Excellent location walking distance from Utrecht Central and the city, but quiet. Modern and spacious apartment that has a bath and shower, a large bedroom and a small guest room (ideal for working from home for 2 people) and a spacious living room and balcony.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Home automation is a hobby of mine. As house-sitter you will have full access to those features and I will show how it works and where everything is. I really value privacy and there are no camera's anywhere, everything works fully locally and doesn't use the cloud, but it's good to know there are motion detectors (that the cat triggers too) and some other sensors (which will be disabled when I'm not there)..
