About this assignment
We are looking for a housesitter close to the lovely city of Tuebingen. We live in a house with garden in Dußlingen. We do have a terrarium with giant african snails and two spoilt cats.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feed the cats, water plants in garden, mow the lawn if necessary,
keep the house clean and in good condition. Keep the pool clean (15 min a week), feed and play with our cats
What are the good features of the property and location
We have a big garden and terrace and you can enjoy a little pool
close to lovely City of Tübingen (Public transport 10 min)
Very nice nighbours!
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
f you like spending your time in a small quite place,please make contact!
You should be ready to spent some time with our cats and enjoy our garden.

Beautiful home south Germany
I Housesat for Tina and her family for two weeks. They were very welcoming and incredibly helpful, especially in the the face of issues with plane delays ect. They have a beautiful house, two lovely rabbits and giant African snails, which were very easy to care for. The neighbours were just as friendly and available if I required any assistance. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Dusslingen and hope to be back again.

Fantastic house sit
Warning: very loving and independent cat. cuddle fluffy bunnies! super nice house, cosy and tidy. extreme friendly neighbors and a green garden to eat from with a big pool. Kristin and I had a wonderful stay in Dußlingen, which is close to interessting places to see and get historical tastes of this "badisch" and german region. We had a very warm welcome, there is nothing very special to look after. But be warned: if you want to be lonely and hate kids, maybe you want tostay away from this island of neighborhood freedom ;-) Sebastian

A wonderful month in Germany!
I had the pleasure of pet-sitting for Tina and Jo’s 2 cats (Vince and Carlos) and 2 bunnies (Theo and Loni) for the month of August 2019. They are located in the village of Dusslingen, a tiny residential community about 15 minutes drive south of the university town of Tubingen, and just a couple of train stops away, in southwest Germany. Tubingen has lots of restaurants to explore and a beautiful park on the river Neckar. The animals are fun to be with; Carlos purrs all the time and likes tummy rubs; Vince gives kisses and likes to sometimes get cozy on your lap. The bunnies are just adorable and hungry all the time! :-) The property is beautiful with a veggie garden and a flower garden, as well as trees and shrubs. The house is very comfortable with lots of sunshine and the neighbors are extremely helpful and friendly. There are 2 grocery stores within 7-minute walk and the train station is about the same distance. I did quite a bit of sight-seeing in this lovely area of Germany (my first time there) without a car. However, I did rent a car for a week to go further afield and it was well worth it! Jo and Tina are extremely kind and generous. I had a small accident when I first arrived, which I didn’t think was too serious, but it turned out that I needed a few stitches. Jo and Tina insisted that I see a doctor and when I had to go to emergency for the procedure, Jo took me to the hospital in Tubingen, waited for me until I was done and took me back to the house. I am very grateful for their caring and concerned nature. They left clear instructions and were always available to consult with, if I needed anything. I would love to sit for them again and highly recommend them as easy-going and just plain lovely people!

Lovely cats and rabbits, super people, lovely house in great location
We have house sat for Tina and Jo now on 4 occasions. They are lovely people who are very easy to communicate with, both in person and through email etc. They live in a super little place called Dusslingen which is about 30 minutes by bus from Stuttgart airport. Their house is very cosy and modern with excellent wifi and amenities and they live walking distance from supermarkets and also around the area there are loads of things to do such as bike or hike in Germany's beautiful countryside. They now have a few pets, although they are all very easy to look after. The two cats (Vince and Carlos) are very friendly and easy going and the two rabbits (Theo and Loni) are also super cute and easy to look after. Having done almost 100 housesits now, we would thoroughly recommend this housesit and hope to go back again more in the future if time permits.

Great location
I house/cat/rabbit sat for Christina and Joe for 3 months from May - August 2018. The house was an easy one to look after and the cats and rabbits were very friendly and fun. The house was a 5 minute walk from the railway station, in one direction, and the supermarket in the other, and a 7 minute train ride to beautiful Tübingen. It is also easy to get there by train from Stuttgart, Frankfurt or Zürich airports so, if you are from overseas, it's easy to get there and you don't need a car. The neighbours are lovely and were very helpful and able to feed the animals when I went away for a couple of weekends. The garden was quite large and I did find it a bit difficult to keep on top of but I'm not a very experienced gardener! I would be happy to housesit for this lovely family again.
