About this assignment
Looking for a professional guest or quiet holidaymaker, who is considerate to the neighbours, respectful of the space, clean, reliable and who loves cats :)
I will be away 31/3 - 7/4 and 10/4 - 14/4. So I'll be home for 3 nights in between. I'm either looking for someone to take the whole period who doesn't mind me and my two teenage kids being around in between, or someone who just wants to stay for the first period, and I'll find someone else for the second period.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Taking care of two cats - feeding them twice a day, changing their water and taking care of the litter tray, playing and giving them a bit of love of course. Also watering the plants.
What are the good features of the property and location
The apartment is bright and spacious with 1 double bed and 2 single beds, it is close to Malmö city centre, the central station and many bus routes. It's on a quiet street with supermarkets, bakeries and cafes in the neighbourhood. Malmö is a really fun, cultural, diverse city with an amazing food scene and plenty to explore. It is also just 30 mins by train from Copenhagen.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
There is no washing machine in the apartment, but a bookable communal laundry in the basement.
Feel free to use the garden in the back of the house but always take the key with you.
Can I bring my own pets?

Amazing stay and very lovely cats
I looked after Oreo and Dusty for around three weeks. The cats are very easy-going. At the beginning they were a bit shy, but with the time they built trust in me and we became friends. They liked being stroked and I enjoyed spending time with them a lot. Rowan is an amazing and very easy-going home owner. She gave me all the important informations in advance and explained everything what I needed to know when I arrived. The communication was great and easy. Rowan had a week away and then needed to come back for a couple of days before leaving again. So we spent some days together and even did a cycling tour to the beach. I felt like I was a part of the family. Rowan’s apartment is big, beautiful decorated and located central. Supermarkets, the best bakery in town are located nearby. I had an amazing stay and would highly recommend Rowan and her cats!

Fantastic stay in lovely Malmö
I stayed at Rowan’s place in Malmö for two weeks taking care of her adorable cats. A boy and a girl, little shy at the beginning but almost cuddly friends by the end. Apartment is in a great area within walking distance from everything that matters :) Quiet, spacious, very comfortable with all essential amenities. Cats are easy going, not problematic at all. Taking care of them was a sheer pleasure. Rowan showed me everything and explained in detail how all things work. Throughout my stay we were in touch. I definitely recommend the place to stay and the kitties as companions. I would be back without hesitation.

Easy Sit in Central Apartment with 2 sweet, shy cats
The rapport & communication with home owner, Rowan, was smooth and easy. Her flat is comfortable with a lovely little garden area & is really central to shops and transport and the centre of Malmo. Oreo & Dusty are very shy rescue cats but became more playful and confident as they built trust in me. I would be very happy to return and take care of them again.
