About this assignment
We are looking for a house sitter to stay with our beloved cat, Lea.
Lea is a cuddly and playful tabby, 5 years old, and not very used to being alone for long periods. For this reason, we’re ideally seeking someone who is happy to work remotely from our home while keeping her company.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
We simply ask that you keep Lea good company, feed her, clean her litter box twice a day, and spend a little playtime with her in the evening.
You’re of course free to go out during the day or in the evening for dinner or a movie — we just kindly ask that Lea isn’t left alone for more than about 8 hours at a time, and ideally not on a daily basis.
What are the good features of the property and location
The apartment is a spacious two-bedroom attic with a small, pleasant balcony overlooking a quiet street and a beautiful park. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there are two bathrooms — one of them with a bathtub. We also have a garage available.
The location is very convenient: the apartment is just a short walk from Cernusco’s city center, close to the library, several parks and playgrounds, cafés, shops, and restaurants. The underground station is about a 10-minute walk away, and the metro connects Cernusco to the center of Milan in under 30 minutes.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Lea, although very cuddly and sleepy during the day, loves being active and playful in the evening — so it would be great if you could spend a little time entertaining her then. ?
We’re generally clean and tidy people, so we kindly ask that anyone staying in our home tries to leave things as they found them.

Great sit with Lea

The apartment is centrally located near public transportation so it’s perfect for shopping and exploring the city. Wonderful Berlin housesit
I’ve had a wonderful week at the home of Lara and Pietro in Berlin. Lea is the most adorable cat and so affectionate and a bit cheeky. Lara and Pietro’s flat is very comfortable and located perfectly on U5 for easy access to all sites. Communication was easy and very friendly. I highly recommend this house sit.

Cuddly cat Lea in Berlin
Lara and Pietro welcomed us warmly and gave us very detailed and clear instructions on how to take care best for their cuddly cat Lea and the apartment before they left for their holidays. We enjoyed our time over Christmas and New Year in Berlin very much. We gained Lea's trust very quickly and she loved to sit on our laps being cuddled all the time. Although she was afraid of the fireworks we managed to keep her calm and feel safe. The apartment was comfortable and tidy. We would highly recommend Lara and Pietro to sit for.

Wonderful family, playful cat!
I catsat for Leas "mom" and "dad" two weeks over Easter this year. We matched in a catsitting group on social media and I recommended Mindmyhouse.com. I can highly recommend this family. They give good instructions and all worked well. The flat is big with a lovely, huge terrace with flowers, and berries! Lea is an adorable, playful cat and a great company. Its a safe neighbourhood and public transport stops are within visual distance from the front door. I'm returning to housesit for Lara and her family later in September and I look forward to play with Lea again. Whoever ends up with the Christmas catsit, enjoy!
