About this assignment
I hope the sitter is responsible, reliable, tidy, respectful, dependable, and extremely loving and kind to my little popcorn. I hope she/he is willing to give me many updates about all that happens (or not) while I'm away =)
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Basically, make sure there is always food and water in her little pots, which need to be cleaned often; be sure she is in the house in the evenings before going to bed (she loves to spend time in our garden); check if the litter tray needs to be cleaned; keep the house tidy and clean; water the plants (they will also need your attention =) ).
What are the good features of the property and location
Very calm neighborhood, close to the Heverlee train station and bus stops; there is a garden in the back, with a table and chairs for sunny days. Sunday market is a must!
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Always remind to enter the house without shoes; being responsible for electricity, heating, and water usage is very important! There are individual meters for the flat, which makes it easy to check our consumption.
I prefer they bring their own towels and hygiene products (and if possible, bed linen. If not, don't worry! =) ).

Jessica is a very friendly and welcoming host who makes you feel at home right away. She is well-prepared, explains everything clearly, and gives you all the information you need for a smooth stay. She is also quick to reply and very reliable, which makes things easy. Her lovely cat, Agatha, is full of personality! She’s easy to look after, and while she might seem a little grumpy at first, she soon becomes friendly and affectionate — which makes her even more lovable. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood with good bus and train connections, and there are shops just a short walk away. It’s a comfortable and pleasant place that feels like home. We would be more than happy to stay again and gladly recommend her house sit! :)

Sweet little Agatha
I traveled to Leuven, Belgium with my sister and we spent our best days in Jessica's house. Where we took care of her amazing cat Agatha. It was a beautiful experience in the most lovely city. We would love to repeat it in the future!

Amazing experience!
It was our first time using this platform and after spending our holiday in Jessica's home, all I can say is, It was a great decision. Jess helped us out with everything we needed to know before arriving. Moreover, she made her lovely Agatha's needs very clear. Lovely host with the cutest cat!
Jess welcomed us warmly and gave us clear information and instructions, also nicely listed on paper files. She is very reliable, kind, helpful and organized. During our stay we kept in contact and she was making sure everything is going well. Her cat is the sweetest little being. We really enjoyed our stay in Belgium and hope to come once again in future!
