About this assignment
Muffy is 8 & Tommy is 7. I adopted them together during the pandemic. They are awesome, & deserve so much love! We need someone that is around home during the day or evening to care for them & clean up after them. Vistors must abide by the private neighborhood rules. It is a friendly & helpful community.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
*Caring for indoor cats; litter box cleaning, feeding twice a day, They can be very affectionate.
*Water a few indoor plants & outdoors during hot season.
Pick up mail occasionally.
Leave it as nice as you found it.
What are the good features of the property and location
The cottage living neighborhood is very peaceful & friendly Community
There is a Bus stop at the end of the driveway.
It is 1 mile to a beautiful walking beach & boardwalk.
There are 2 wonderful State parks only a few miles away.
2 renowned gardens very near. There is major shopping, transit, & library all within 2 miles. The large transit center provides easy access to Seattle. Tennis & pickle ball court, nearby.
20 minutes to Tacoma’s many museums & activities.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
You must be considerate to others in a small, private neighborhood. Must Love & care for 2 indoor Cats. Take good care of my happy place.
Couple considered, sorry no children.

We had a wonderful visit getting to know Paula. The cottage is absolutely delightful as are her daughters, friends and neighbors. The cats are quite shy but once they warm up, especially Tommy, they are sweet and cuddly. The area has so much to offer and we hope to go back one day. Safe and enjoyable
Paula is just full of life! She is a passionate gardener, a great communicator - and just an all-round friendly and unique soul. I feel privileged to have met Paula and her family. Muffy and Tommy will impress their new carers with their sweet personalities & they just love to be brushed. If you never slept with cats you will enjoy sleeping with these 2.???? Tommy loves going places and Muffy adores watching the world go by. There are a lot of good walks nearby. There is a food stores about 5 min away or a bigger supermarket just a short 25 min walk or there is a nearby bus stop. You can get to Seattle by bus in 60 mins - it's worth the trip. Thank you for a great warm stay.
