Non smokers please.
Bring no animals with you.
Ability to take care of our animals.
Ability to use initiative and make decisions.
Willingness to treat our house as you'd like yours to be treated.
Happy to overlook some of the scruffiness.
People with a happy disposition would be good.
If you can speak some French all the better.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feeding and watering the cat and the chickens. Collecting and eating any eggs.
Making sure our 1 remaining sheep is content.
Keep the house secure whilst you're out visiting the French countryside.
Keeping it as clean as you find it (don't worry, it will be clean but not pristine).

What are the good features of the property and location

40 mins from Futuroscope (Poitiers). 15 mins from Montmorilllon, the city of writers. 20 mins from Chauvigny where there is a brilliant bird display. 5 mins from Saint Savin with the beautifully decorated Abbey. Peaceful garden where you can relax, de-stress and forget everything.
House has 3 bedrooms (only one to be used by housesitters), downstairs WC, one shower room and WC upstairs. Recently refurbished small kitchen.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You'll need a car as nearest village with no shops is 2 kms, and with shops 5 km. Bigger towns are 15+ mins by car.
Free WiFi. You need to be able to adapt to some quirks which we don't notice now.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
