About this assignment
We are looking for a reliable pet lover to watch our dogs Ozzie & Iggy for 22 days in beautiful Ventura, 4 miles from the beach!
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
We would like to have someone feed and pet our dogs, and take them for walks. Just keep the house looking lived-in. All of the outside watering is automatic.
What are the good features of the property and location
We are 4 miles from the beach and yacht harbor. Also 10 minutes to the downtown Ventura Main Street pedestrian zone with cafes, live music, restaurants and shopping. There is great biking and hiking in the area and our house is in a nice quiet neighborhood, with many restaurants and stores nearby. We are about 30 minutes away from Santa Barbara and about 20 minutes to beautiful Ojai.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
We have a recently remodeled kitchen. The rear deck and BBQ area is also new and very comfortable. We Stream all of our video entertainment with Netflix, Prime and PBS. We do not have broadcast TV. House is non-smoking.

Wonderful 8 week house sit in Ventura, California.
My husband Patrick and I spent 8 weeks in Ventura, California in the Beautiful and comfortable home of Molly and Casey, caring for their 2 pets Ozzie and Tashia. The pets were very sweet and delightful to care for. The home is Centrally located in a quiet, safe neighborhood with friendly and helpful neighbors. We loved downtown Ventura and the farmers markets. We were close to the beaches, grocery stores and highway. There is so much to see and do in this area. Would Highly recommend this house sit.
