About this assignment

We are looking for someone who really loves dogs and will take good care of Maxie. They should also be friendly, easy-going and responsible.

Special preference for: retirees and couples.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Primarily looking after Maxie - feeding, walking, playing with him. He is a very happy and friendly dog, and very easy-going otherwise (for example, he will just sleep next to you if you are working the whole day on your computer).

Other than that, probably just watering the plants.

What are the good features of the property and location

The apartment is really close to the city centre of Rotterdam - just a few blocks walking. It is also very close to the old harbour and the Maas river promenade which is nice to walk along. Rotterdam is a very cool and interesting city, and worth a stay if you haven't been here.

The apartment is very cosy and really ideal size for a couple. What is a bonus is that we have a well-equipped office space in the apartment - which makes it a great location for working remote if you have to.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

That they will need to look after our dog Maxie and he has a bit of separation anxiety so doesn't like being left by himself for long periods. So someone who wants to explore the city will need to also take Maxie into account and probably take him with on adventures.
