Our desired house sitter is an active individual (or couple) that enjoys spending most of their time in a quiet, peaceful and beautiful location. They should like to take walks, or easy hikes, and love dogs.They would also be able to drive safely.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Responsibilities include feeding our dog, cleaning up his waste daily, exercising him, and of course giving him plenty of love and attention . A 30-45 minute walk in the morning and about the same amount of time in the afternoon playing fetch in the yard, or pool, will keep him happy. Watering a few indoor and outdoor plants and taking out the weekly trash will be needed.

What are the good features of the property and location

A beautiful location nestled in the elevated Tucson Mountains in a private, gated community with fabulous sunrises and moonrises that will inspire your mornings and evenings. Just a short 15 minute drive from downtown Tucson where there are many restaurants and entertainment options. The home has all the modern features including high speed internet and a big screen TV with streaming options. A pool and spa in the yard are here for your enjoyment, as are outdoor cooking and dining options. The guest room has a comfortable king size bed and the guest bathroom has a large walk-in shower with a view.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The home is located in a hilly area with the closest supermarkets and restaurants a ten-fifteen minute drive. Transportation is a necessity. There are no interior steps, but there are 3 steps leading from the covered back porch down to the pool. Wildlife, including mule deer, javelina, coyote, kitt fox, and venomous snakes and insects are part of our natural desert environment.
