House in Sherwood, Oregon with a couple of wooded acres, close to town

About this assignment

We are looking to find someone to watch our house and pets for a while while we go out of town. We have a loving, yet excitable dog and a "typical" cat who likes attention on her time, but otherwise does her own thing.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Mostly pet care and attention. We will give a feeding schedule, but honestly our animals are pretty easy. Our dog Loki is by far the more demanding of the 2. Also, some light (weekly) plant watering and just generally occupying the house.

What are the good features of the property and location

We are close to the town of Sherwood. There are sports facilities right across the street and plenty to do and see. We do have a couple of wooded acres with a little walking path and privacy. The house is new to us and is a work in progress, but it is clean and comfortable. We do have highspeed internet and all of the usual amenities one would expect.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The biggest thing is probably that the dog will need daily attention. He can make it through a work day without having to go out, if he goes out in the morning. He is used to someone being home most of everyday, but he does fine on his own for a while too. The cat does her own thing most of the time (typical cat). She will let you know when she wants attention.
