A mature, reliable person with experience managing a home independently. Our home is remote, with few neighbors. Must like solitude and company of dogs. We also get plenty of wildlife through the yard.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Care of two dogs and a flock of chickens. These are only standard expectations for these animals, including walking the dog and collecting eggs, providing them with food and water. Currently, one dog is undergoing heartworm treatment, so she must be outside on leash only.

What are the good features of the property and location

Solitude, and lots of it. We are half an hour from shopping, but our town is all dirt roads and very few residents. We have the Green Mountain National Forest on two sides, and three year round residents within a mile. Otherwise, it's you, the dogs and chickens, and nature. You can go for a walk in the woods straight from our door

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We have high speed internet through Xfinity if you need to work while here, but you will also have plenty of time to recharge without traffic.

Can I bring my own pets?
