About this assignment

We are looking for a couple, individual, or family who is capable of living off-grid in nature. Responsible, self sufficient, good with animals, dedicated, and committed.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The responsibilities include feeding dogs, cats, and ducks and watching after the house. Also, the most basic of property/farm upkeep. Watching after the house and the farm.

What are the good features of the property and location

We have a variety of food growing on the farm like herbs, greens, and fruits. It is a peaceful setting surrounded by nature and wildlife. A close walk to the bus with two popular beach towns 10-15 minutes away, and an even closer ride to the grocery store.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We are off-grid. We have solar power and collect rainwater for cooking and other uses. We have a creek on the property as an option for bathing. Laundry is done by hand. You can go many days without seeing people as the most immediate neighbors are monkeys and sloths.
