3 weeks: Portland OR home with car, 2 young dogs, hot tub! Reactive dog experience required

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Our sweet and calm doggies have had extensive professional training and are wonderful pets. They need love, attention, ongoing obedience training, and exercise. Water the houseplants once a week and enjoy our home, property, and surrounding areas!

What are the good features of the property and location

Walkable to coffee, restaurants, groceries, bars, 300 acre park. 15 minute drive to downtown Portland, easy access to freeways, and lots of beautiful nature all around! Hiking trails and plenty of activities nearby. Access to a 2020 Subaru with proof of license and car insurance.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

While both are very sweet with adult humans, but the little one is highly reactive with other dogs. She cannot be trusted at all with any dog except her sister, and we don't trust her with little kiddos just in case.

Proven experience with reactive dogs will be REQUIRED if you wish to take them for walks, hikes, etc. Otherwise dogs will need to remain on-property at all times. If they don't leave the property, no more than 2 hours a day in the kennel please. If we do approve hikes, etc, they can be left for up to 4 hours a day in their kennels. We would love a ride to and from the airport for our trip, and you are welcome to come in a day or two early or leave a day or two later if that's best for your plans.
