Reliable, trustworthy, clean, tidy. Mostly stay at home. Must feel secure in a remote area/on own. Should follow rules regarding our pets. Have a driver's license. No parties, no drugs. Housesitting references.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Look after 2 dogs and 2 cats. Gardener and cleaner come in twice a week, fetch from and take them back to their homes in the township. Do electricity and water meter readings once a month.

What are the good features of the property and location

Bedrooms are en-suite. Hot water, gas geyser one side, electric geyser other side of house. Kitchen equipped with gas/electric stove, microwave, dishwasher. Beautiful views towards Lesotho mountains. Washing machine.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Must be able to drive on wet and slippery dirt road after rain. Must have driver's license, property 5 km from closest town. House is on a farm, must be comfortable and feel secure living on own/away from people. House has Eskom electricity. There is wifi which has UPS and there is a battery inverter to use tv, but there is no other back-up electricity, sitter must be comfortable with this in case power goes out.
