About this assignment
Non-smoking person available October 6, 2026 - January 4, 2027 while I am in my condo in Lucca, Italy. .Our hope is for someone who will enjoy the beach which is within 15 minute walk and still very warm in October We want someone trustworthy, of course, and who really enjoys our two Bengal cats.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
We have two Bengal cats: a male aged 4 years named Samadhi and a sweet female 8 months old named Serafina You would feed them, and keep the automatic litterbox clean. We would ask you to take in mail and packages for us. Possibly water indoor plants.
What are the good features of the property and location
Live at the beach! We are about a 15 minute walk to the beach, groceries, etc. Possible use of car. Good internet and stream TV. Desk for home office. Fenced yard, screened porch, access to swimming pool, air conditioning in the warmer months. The neighbors are very kind and helpful. Bose stereo for your CDs, music stands if you play music, etc.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
We want someone to care for our two Bengal cats; one is 4 years old and the other is 8 months old, We have a small home that is comfortably furnished in Myrtle Beach close many tourist attractions.Walk to beach in 15 minutes. No smoking or excessive alcohol use please.
Can I bring my own pets?

Just finished a 5 week sit at Myrtle Beach for the cutest dog ever - Leo- and 2 beautiful bengal cats. If you want to meet people, Leo is definitely a people magnet when you are out for walks or at the dog park. I thought people were just really friendly (which they were actually), but I realized that they mostly wanted to pet and learn about Leo the Corgie...he is adorable. The two cats were great, the young one Sam, is frisky but also cuddly. The older cat is quieter, and mostly wanted to lay in the sun or by the window and watch the birds, which were plentiful around the feeder as well. The location couldn't have been better, very short drive to the beach and so many restaurants and mini golf places. Definitely not a shortage of things to do. Helen and Steve left good written instructions, were warm and welcoming, and were readily available through WhatsApp for questions. They live in a close-knit sleepy community, where I felt very safe. Helen introduced me to neighbors whom were really nice and helpful.
