About this assignment
I am looking for someone responsible, who enjoys dogs, and comunicates well, who has a good character to follow through and complete a house sits in good faith.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
The responsibilitys would be feeding and walking my Whippet Lexi. Watering the garden when needed. Making sure the house is looked after and kept clean tidy.
What are the good features of the property and location
The great feature of the property is it is a spacious modern home. It has lovely rural views, and is very quiet. The location is in a popular wine district. And is only 45mins drive from Christchurch.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
They need to consider the importance of making sure Lexi the Whippet is feed and walked daily. The house is looked after and garden watered.
Can I bring my own pets?

Fabulous Experience
We had the pleasure of housesitting for Andrew and could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived we felt incredibly welcomed. Andrew went out of his way to ensure our travels were convenient and that we had everything we needed. The communication was clear and very friendly. The house is modern, clean and well equipped. The bed and pillows were great. There is a gorgeous view of the mountains. His gardens are beautiful. We felt so at home and comfortable. The area provides great opportunities to view some amazing local sights. The neighbours are very hospitable. Everyone made us feel like “family”. Andrew offered us helpful tips about the house, gardens, local area and of course, Lexi (his wonderful Whippet). Lexi is a sweet, easy going, cuddly dog. She enjoys her walks, hiking and just hanging out with people. She was a delight and easy to care for. We truly appreciate Andrew’s trust in us and would highly recommend him as a host!
