The sitters primary responsibility will be to care for our pets. To treat our home as theirs during their stay and maintain it as such.
What are the good features of the property and location
Our property is situated in the heart of the famous Burren, Co. Clare. Though rural it is close to many wonderful towns, amenities and attractions.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
The property is situated in a very quite valley in the Burren, surrounded by the Burren National Park. It would be essential for the sitter(s) to have their own transport.

Enjoying the Burren
My son and I stayed on Aislings' property minding her shepherd and pony, and had a wonderful time there. Aisling and her daughters are so kind and generous, they even allowed me to store some things until my return the following year, which was above and beyond. It felt like we had made good friends when we left. The German shepherd is very easy to care for and loves affection, and the pony does not require much except treats as it is free roaming. The property itself is still a work in progress, but, the design inside is very beautiful and comfortable, with incredible artwork everywhere. It is in the heart of the Burren with very few houses around, so, you are surrounded by this ancient and unique place and can walk right out the front door and explore the landscape. I would definitely recommend this sit, you will be better off having met such genuine, Irish people in a warm, hospitable place.

The beautiful Burren
Thoroughly enjoyed our house and pet-sit sit for Ashling in a beautiful part of county Clare in April 2023. Ashling & her girls were so friendly and made us feel welcome and at home. Molly, Daphne & Elli were no bother and easy to look after. A great spot to have as a base as so many lovely places nearby to visit. Wifi and phone signal was an issue within the house but was available further out on the property.
