About this assignment

I live in Serra, Valencia province in Spain. I go away for 2 weeks to a month each summer and usually Marco, my 4 year old Spanish Greyhound cannot come with me.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Walking Marco, and keeping him company. Give 2 meals a day. We're doing a program to improve his separation anxiety, which you will need to follow too. Mountain lovers not beach lovers please. You could not leave Marco alone all day. Watering pots in the garden.

What are the good features of the property and location

45 minutes from Valecia city, in the National Park, with wonderful walks - or just chilling places. The local towns are dog friendly, as is Valencia city. Within driving distance to river, picturesque towns and further trecking routes. e.g. https://www.komoot.com/guide/65739/hiking-in-valencia

3 bedroom terraced house, with airconditioning, decent internet and Security alarm. It's very countryside but with modern housing

Communal swimming pool for 9 houses. Quiet time enforced at siesta time.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

I'd like you to arrive a day or 2 before a leave to get to know each other. You'd probably need your own car. My street is a properly tarmaced road.
It's possible that due to ongoing dry conditions there may be restrictions on any fires e.g. bbq

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: Marco enjoys the company of other dogs. I wouldn't risk bringing a cat though!
