About this assignment
We are looking for someone that is reliable, trustworthy, and has some experience with country properties. We need to have a meeting to go over any questions that the sitter may have ahead of time. Non smoker is mandatory.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Caring for our 1 cat Waylon.
Refilling hummingbird feeders.
Watering plants in containers outside and in, when needed. The other gardens are automatically watering.
Just basic upkeep from your stay, ie dishes etc you use, washed and put away, etc.
What are the good features of the property and location
We are located 7 miles from Cloverdale in the Yorkville Highlands appellation.
Our property is 27 acres.
We are about 25 minuites to Anderson Valley wine appellation, Healdsburg, and Hopland.
We have air conditioning, a pool, outdoor kitchen, and fire table.
Views and sunsets are amazing.
The home is clean and comfortable. Guest bed is the best one.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
We have instructions for care.
We have instructions for Central air/heat, TV, Wifi, etc to make your stay enjoyable and carefree.
We need a reliable person that will not cancel last minute.
Can I bring my own pets?

Peaceful Home & Adorable Kitty!
Staying at Angus and Donna's home was such a welcome reprieve from city and a busy work life. I was so happy to spend time there as it so tidy, clean, neatly decorated, and just all around cozy. It is perched atop a hill in wine country and the pool was delightful. The best treat of all was spending time with Waylon. He is such a character and has a white heart shaped patch on his belly. Beautiful long hair and he loves a gentle brush! I was so happy to win his affection and have snuggle sessions! They felt so special. Waylon likes to hang out on his yoga mat most of the day and loves his wet food. There were very clear and thorough instructions. I felt like I had all my questions answered. Giving Waylon his medicine was very simple, it truly is just a little dab in the ear and he doesn't mind, scratch, nor bite. He is on a food schedule but it's quite easy and routine for cat (morning, evening, and little snack before bed). Nothing out of the ordinary. Highly recommend catsitting sweet Waylon. It was such a nice and wholesome time! Beautiful land and home. All in all, wonderful.

1st sit in Spring, 2nd in Fall 2024. Donna is friendly and easy going. She provided great instructions regarding the house & kitty Waylon. My questions were answered promptly and I would love to care for Waylon again if our schedules work out. Beautiful home and beautiful location.

Wine Country Beauty
Beautiful home situated atop a hill with the most spectacular views & sunsets. The pool area with outdoor kitchen had us spoiled for sure! Waylon, their well behaved cat loved to be brushed and with a built in cat door, couldn't have been an easier pet sit.
