Beautiful, sunny historic house - cat care needed

About this assignment

I'm looking for a mature, responsible, clean, non-smoking traveler to love and care for my beautiful 9-year-old cat Olaf (a mix of Turkish Van and domestic shorthair).

I'm an avid world traveler and would love to provide accommodations for another traveler who wants to spend time in beautiful Northern Utah.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

--Feeding the cat (medicine mixed into food p.m.), scooping out his litter box each day, monitoring gastrointestinal health (to be explained!)
--Petting, snuggling with and playing with the cat
--Bringing the mail inside each day
--Watering outdoor container plants (about 5) every other day

What are the good features of the property and location

Charming, historic Craftsman home in the Liberty Wells neighborhood.
Bedroom with super comfortable queen bed and dedicated home office. Two bathrooms.
Furnished front porch for outdoor lounging and dining; fenced backyard with shaded patio and sunny deck.
Close to downtown SLC and Sugarhouse district
Quick and easy drive to the beautiful Wasatch Mountains for hiking and other outdoor recreation!.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

My cat is very affectionate and sweet, but can take a little time to warm up to new people sometimes and doesn't get along with other animals. He needs a quiet, calm environment, and for this reason I strongly prefer solo sitters. Please make sure to avoid loud music, no guests coming in and out, etc.
