About this assignment

We would like someone who loves animals and will care for our house in a dependable and trustworthy manner. Ideally a couple as it normally takes 2 to walk the dogs.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Our 2 dogs are a bundle of fun and energy. Loulou is 10 and tries really hard to keep up with Nala who is 3. Both are described as Labrador on their French paperwork, however, when you meet them, you will see that this is not quite accurate. Harvey, our cat, is actually female, and named after the TV character Harvey from the TV series Suits because of her character. Our 2 other cats are brother and sister, sugar and spice. New to our animal house are grace and Frankie, 2 chickens who are very friendly and are good layers. There’s nothing like a fresh organic egg. All 5 love cuddles, love and spending time with you.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our welcoming house is waiting for you in the heart of Normandy. It is in the countryside with local walks for the dogs, but only 5 minutes from the town of Saint Lo. It has a beautiful garden and terrace, ideal for sitting, sipping aperitifs. There is plenty of garden for the dogs to run around in and it is completely secure. The famous D Day beaches and Le Mont St Michel are within travelling distance to visit.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You would need a vehicle as there is no close by public transport. We only have one spare bedroom so it isn’t really suitable for a family.
