we are looking for a nice person or couple who enjoy our place
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
look after a 1400m2 garden i.e. about 3 hours of watering every second day depending on the weather
gardening knowledge required
empty mailbox
lock the doors
clean the house before you leave
What are the good features of the property and location
2 bedroom house (1 queen size bed, one single bed) in a beautiful, sunny and extremely quiet residential area on the Zurich 'Goldcoast'
10 min. on foot to swimming in the lake of Zurich
10 min. on foot to shops, post office, restaurants, ATM etc.
12 km to Zurich
5 min. on foot to the countryside with hiking through vineyards
5 min. on foot from public transportation which then takes you to Zurich in 20 min.
1 hour from the mountains.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Depending on the weather the amount of time watering the garden.
We need someone who has garden experience and really enjoys staying in this little paradise.

A quiet retreat in a comfortable house surrounded by a lush garden.
Spending 16 days in Ale's & Lea's house was a wonderful respite from travelling, The photos don't do it justice. The house is comfortable & visually appealing, decorated colorfully with a variety of art work. .All windows overlook the lush, productive garden.......not typically Swiss. A serene oasis in a suburban setting, close to all amenities & transport. The work involved requires regular watering via hose & pump system, of garden & pot plants. Necessary in hot weather, but not too time consuming. Fruit & veg need to be harvested also. An ideal housesit for garden lovers.
