About this assignment
This is a pretty easy sit! Olive is sweet with people and just wants to hang around with you. She can be alone for 6-8 hours, so that leaves lots of time to explore the area. She loves to walk so it would be great for someone who also enjoys walking! Please note that I have only used this site once so don't have many reviews. I have many 5star reviews on another site, so feel free to ask me to send you those.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Beyond taking care of Olive (feeding her, walking her and giving her lots of pats and cuddles), the occasional plant watering and mail pickup every few days. It's an easy house to take care of.
What are the good features of the property and location
The Raleigh/Durham area is amazing with so much to do!! Theater, museums, walks, hikes, bike paths, great restaurants, craft beer, and many other sightseeing opportunities. Our community is very walk-able with sidewalks and super quiet, yet close to all the fun things to do! We are also 15 min from the airport, without the flight noise!
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Olive is a 12lb dog and loves to be near you so plan to give her lots of attention. While she is a great walker, she is nervous around other dogs, so we have details on the best way to walk her (lots of treats!).
