House Sitters for Lapta, North Cyprus

About this assignment

Ideally looking for a couple. You will be mature, honest, reliable and caring and capable of looking after or home in our absence. Our pet sitters must have a genuine love of looking after cats and dogs. Our cats are shy and nervous around strangers and need to be cared for by people with the patience to gradually gain their trust and take the time to get to know them and ensure they are happy and safe.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

To feed and care of our four cats and one young male Labrador. Our cats are allowed outside in the daytime but stay indoors overnight. Our dog enjoys a daily walk along mountain trails above our house so a reasonable level of fitness is required.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is in Lapta, a seaside traditional village North Cyprus. It is a beautiful area to enjoy trails in the Kyrenia. mountains and the seaside Lapta walkway. Our pet sitters stay in comfortable, well appointed guest accommodation comprised of a sitting room, kitchen and en-suite bedroom. WiFi and Netflix included.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Lapta is in the TRNC ( the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus). You can arrive via Larnaca airport in the South of Cyprus and take a taxi to Lapta, or fly into Ercan Airport in the North, via Istanbul. A hire car is recommended and we can recommend local agents to obtain favourable rates.
