About this assignment
I am looking for a friendly responsible and reliable person who also loves cats and who I feel like I can trust to stay in my place and take care of them.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feed cats twice a day including being aware of a cat who has special dietary requirements, clean cat litter trays,(may have an automatic litter tray soon) fill water bowl, keep apartment clean by tidying up after themselves and water plants when needed...
What are the good features of the property and location
It is located in the 3rd district close to Landstrasse and Schwedensplatz. It's a 3rd floor apartment with a living room and bedroom, seperate kitchen etc
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
It has everything you might need. Cats are fully housemate meaning you need to be aware it's on the third floor and you can't just open windows as its high up! But you can open them a little so it's not dangerous for the cats. There is a fan so you will be comfortable enough!
Can I bring my own pets?

Cozy stay with two adorable cats
I had such a great time staying at Amie's, taking care of her cats and exploring Vienna! Kit and Kimmi might look similar but they have very different characters - Kimmi will most likely ask for cuddles as soon as you sit down while Kit is a bit shyer. they will both sleep by your side, though, which was my favorite part of the stay! Amie is a very kind and considerate host always ready to help the apartment is nice and small but it has everything one might need and it is located in a lovely neighbourhood about 30 minutes’ walk from the city center (but there are restaurants, cafes and bars close to the apartment too!) I would really love to come back to Kimmi and Kit some day :)

Emie is a very thoughtful, friendly, and considerate person. We went to her house for Christmas to look after her two adorable kittens, and she had such lovely little touches for us, especially for my little daughter. We really enjoyed spending Christmas at Emie's house. It's a cozy place, and my little girl had a blast playing with Emie's kittens and enjoying the wonderful Christmas tree, sweets, and Christmas card—all organized by Emie. I found Emie to be very kind and sensitive. Thank you, Emie, and may light always guide your path.

Cat sitting for two awesome fur babies in Vienna, Austria
I had the pleasure of cat-sitting for Amie in Vienna and her two beautiful cats, Kit and Kammi, for 2 weeks in September. Amie is very down-to-earth and friendly, and her two cats are lovable and adorable. Her place is very conveniently located and perfectly placed for exploring Vienna by public transport. Thank you, Amie, for letting me house sit and look after your precious fur babies!

Vienna House/Cat Sit
I had the best time house sitting for Amie and her 2 cats in her compact flat in central Vienna. Kit and Kimmie are inside cats with access to a secure courtyard. They are easy to get along with and have their own personalities. Kit took a couple of days to get used to me and is a real sweetie. The flat is close to 2 supermarkets and within walking distance of the main railway station, extensive shopping area in Mariahilfer Strasse, and the old town centre. There is also a U-Bahn station very close giving access to all parts of this amazing city. Whatever your interests there is lots to do in Vienna especially if museums and palaces are your thing. Amie was very helpful and welcoming also suggesting day trips outside of Vienna. The city has lots of options for music concerts and also 2 cinemas that show English speaking movies. Can't recommend this sit highly enough.

Christmas in Vienna
The communicaton with Amie both beforehand and throughout our stay was easygoing and overall great. When we needed to resolve a minor issue in the apartment, Amie was very helpful and always available on chat to support us. The cats are both friendly and make most welcome company in the freezing winter time. Though we must admit we were sometimes a bit confused about which was which, as we tried to keep each of them at their food bowls. A difficult task! The flat itself is small but cosy, situated close to the city center and makes for a wonderfull starting point to many walks around the city. With all the lights and Christmas markets, Vienna in winter was just magical.

Caring for two lovely cats in the heart of Vienna
I had the best time at Amie's place in Vienna. Her two cats are adorable, funny, good company and are very chill. The apartment is very cosy and it is in a very nice area, reachable and beautiful. It is really easy to get along with Amie, she is such a nice person, I am glad I've met her and the cats :).
