Short notice, seeking housesitter and pet care for three cats and one dog in Seattle, WA

About this assignment

We are looking for someone who loves taking care of and playing with animals. Also, someone who is respectful, tidy and quiet and looking for a peaceful retreat!

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feeding four animals three times a day, walking the dog twice or one good walk in the mornings and fetch in the backyard in the evening. Our cats also love to go outside but need to be monitored. We'd also need someone to water the garden.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a beautiful spot close to the Puget Sound and all the recreation that Seattle area has to offer. We are in a walkable neighborhood with lots of good restaurants, a neighborhood theater, Alki Beach and incredible vistas. We have a large yard and our neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We also have bikes to ride.

We also have high speed fiber for those working from home, many ways to make coffee and wonderful park nearby with a salt water pool overlooking the Puget Sound.

We have a stocked pantry and would provide any food stuff that you would need. 3 bedroom, 2 bath. One king size bed, one queen and two twin. Our house is a little older and rustic but the location makes up for it. Note: we don't have AC, which hasn't really been an issue as there is generally a cool breeze, but it can heat up in the afternoons upstairs. We have fans that can help if it gets warm.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Our animals are really sweet - our dog Princess is 11 and loves walks and fetch. Our older cat Maya is 13 and quiet and keeps to herself. She takes a small medication in the AM. Our younger cats, Arlo and Lenny, are active and love playing with toys and going into the backyard.
