They are very funny
A woman who is single, responsible, quiet and loves cats. Kind hearted and genuine, The cat sitter must live in the Nedtherlands as i want to meet her before and she needs to come to the house to meet the cats as well. The cats need to meet new people when i am around.
Just to look after the cats in every way, cleaning the cat tray, making sure the cats do not over eat or have late night parties.
I live on an Island surrounded by water, residential only, public transport to Amsterdam Centraal station and tram to the centre of Amsterdam city. Shops within walking distance.
Arrive on time, friendly and keep in touch with me about the well being of the cats. May be useful if you are flexible. They must be living in the Netherlands. I would need to meet you in my home first. You would need to see the home and meet the cats.
No, sorry.

Two truly adorable cats in a modern, comfortable home
Juno and Ziggy are two absolute sweethearts. And a special combination - Juno is a dignified senior and impressively fit for her age: She still jumps on tables and swiftly climbs the cat trees, albeit a bit slower. Ziggy is much younger, bigger in size and respectively more energetic - he's the one "guarding" the (cat proof) big balcony, watching what happens outside and wanting to play more often. Once in a while he also tries to pester his companion, starting by licking her neck fur then suddenly trying to bait her into a tussle - yet she is quick to let him know where the limit is. Both are very uncomplicated. They also love to sleep which they do in multiple naps. And they both love getting their fur brushed. Their home is a top modern, comfortable apartment, situated at a mere 3 bus stops from Amsterdam Centraal and also close to a free ferry connecting to Amsterdam Noord. The latter is certainly worth to explore, especially after the frenzy of the bustling anthill called Amsterdam Centrum. You really get the best of two worlds here: All the amenities of city life nearby, but then a very peaceful, comfortable and safe place to retreat to, with the cats. Supermarkets at a walking distance of ca. 10 minutes. Also, I enjoyed the relaxing silence in that house - evidently, the acoustic insulation is well made. Once in a while you hear the neighbours arriving or leaving their apartments, but that's all so healthy night rest is a given, too. Communication with Rachel was effortless and pleasant throughout. She prepared the instructions well and also got me special maps and tourist infos for the area which I appreciated. We stayed in touch while she was traveling and I sent her daily brief updates about her felines as I always do. I really enjoyed this cat sit over a long weekend and can definitely recommend it. Will happily cat sit this duo again once new dates for that match my plans.

Great housesit in Amsterdam Java-eiland Java-eiland
I minded Rachel's cats Ziggy and Juno several times. Each cat has a different character. Ziggy is the most adventurous and Juno is more shy especially in the beginning but they both love attention and they are super sweet. They are very easy to care for. Java eiland is a very interesting part of Amsterdam. It is an artificial island but accessible by a bridge with a splendid view on the IJ and Amsterdam. There are canals and beautiful new architecture. A lot of green and it's very peaceful. You can walk to the Central Station but also take the bus (the bus stop is very close) or bicycle. There are supermarkets and shops on walking distance and a ferry to Amsterdam Noord. Lovely for bike rides. The appartement is spacious, very comfortable and cosy with a great catsave balcony. Rachel is very sympathetic, friendly and helpful. She left clear instructions. I highly recommend this address.
