Wonderful offgrid experience with 2 goats, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 rabbit, 2 guinnee pigs and 20 chickens

About this assignment

I am looking for a house sitter who can milk our goat every day and who can feed and cuddle the other animals while we are away. We have 2 goats (mother and daughter) and we milk the mother every day and use her milk (500ml minimum a day) for yoghurt and cheese. You can use the milk yourself....you don't have to freeze anything for us.
Besides the goats we have 1 cat, 2 dogs, 2 guineepigs, 1 rabit and a lot of chickens who need food and attention as well.
We are looking for someone who loves an offgrid life or loves to experience it and who adores animals and loves taking care of them. We will be away from 19th of december (aproximately) until the end of februari.
We have an almost offgrid house. We only have an electricity connection. That means that water needs to be taken out of our well in front of the house and that a waterbucket for washing hands needs to be manually filled with water. Also our berkey filter waterbucket which is the biggest one and is used for both drinking and cooking needs to be filled manually as well.
We expect the housesitter to milk the goat and feed and pet the animals every single day without exceptions.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The responsibilities are solely to daily milk the goat and to daily feed (and cuddle) the 2 goats, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 rabit, 2 guineepigs and chickens and to keep an eye on the house.
In order to live in our house it is important to be able to carry wood for the wood stove. Further it is nessesary to carry buckets with water to fill up our waterfilter for drinking water and to fill up another canister for washing the hands. Also for washing the cloths it is nessesary to be able to carry buckets with water since we do not have a water connection with pipes.

What are the good features of the property and location

The property has stunning views and absolute silence. In the wintertime there might often be snow to enjoy. Further there are woods where you can enjoy long hikes and there is a town nearby in 30 minutes driving distance with all the shops you might need.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We live remotely and almost offgrid and the last kilometer towards our house is an offroad road with stones which normal cars cannot access. Our 4x4 car can bring you back and forth on this 1 km road. You need to bring your own car with you in order to drive to sightseeing spots and to the town Deva.

Restrictions: the dogs run around free on our land but could be kept in a separate surrounding outside
