About this assignment
I work out of my home so my pet family is used to me being around and people coming in and out. I am looking for someone who wants to hang with them and not just be away for 8 hours at a time. The dogs (Spanky, 11 years old and Sunny Boy, 4 years old) love being seat-belted in the car and are great companions who love to cuddle. The girls (Baby Cakes, 13 and Greta, 9) are affectionate and sweet.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
The most important task is to love my critters! The mail could be stopped, if there is snow or ice it will be handled by someone else. In door plants will be watered before I leave.
What are the good features of the property and location
I live in a lovely, safe suburban town with great restaurants, 2 Whole Foods, grocery stores all over and a great Town Center, which is 3 miles away. I love my home, have a beautiful kitchen, a fenced in yard and have good neighbors. The early winter is gorgeous in Connecticut-walk at the reservoir, hike to Heublein Tower, walk around town to window shop, go to the Mark Twain House, several theater companies or drive an hour to the beach.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
My pet family are all well and don't need any meds. They are happy and cuddly. I have a lovely home that is clean and comfy.

Fell in love
I don't know where to start. Sharon left very good instructions and contact information and was available for any questions, if needed. However, the best part of this sit was spending time with two amazing dogs and two cats! They are the sweetest, most easy going and loving animals I have ever met. They are so well behaved and enjoy just having someone there to love! The 2 dogs love car rides, hiking, being out in nature (which was right up my alley) and/or were perfectly content just hanging out and snuggling. The two cats were as equally loving and could not be more easy going. The location was easily accessible and convenient to any stores, hiking, parks or activities you would want to engage in. I will certainly miss all the love and attention from these sweet fur babies. I can't wait for an opportunity to spend time with them again!
