About this assignment
Reliability, Caring for the animals; not just by feeding but talking to them and a little cuddle. Bernadette, the puppy, demands more than a little! She is ok to be left the first half of the day. For afternoons and evenings she needs a good walk before and shorter sessions on her own.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feed dog, cats, chickens and rabbits. The dog is mainly outside in daytime. Sleeps in the porch at night. Walk the dog one or two times a day. Keep in contact with the owner.
What are the good features of the property and location
Peaceful, picturesque, location even if the train is passing by. Lots of different walks in the forest around here. Different Nature reserves in the area.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
The dog is an 11 month old Finnish lappdog at the time of house sitting. She is quite well trained but is a puppy…
The house is heated by wood fired boiler and gets nice and cozy. There are 3 air-air blowers too if not at home of for cold nights. The shower is in the basement. We use non scented products only here in the household.
The temperatures in Oct-Nov is often between +10 to -3 degrees Celsius.
Can I bring my own pets?
