About this assignment
Someone or ones who will enjoy one small friendly dog & one shy outdoor cat, and some light watering the garden. For people who enjoy the outdoors - over an acre of trees & gardens, patio & gazebo.
One quiet tenant in studio above garage; (she works elsewhere 9am - 9 pm.)
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Give pets food & water; cat gets twice a day, dog gets fed twice a day with small "bones" in between. She also likes petting & attention and a daily walk on out street.
In warm months, some plants need watering (most on sprinkler system), and pots need water daily in hot weather.
What are the good features of the property and location
Beautiful, woodsy property, lots of grown trees, quiet upscale neighborhood at end of dead end street.In the heart of wine country, Sebastopol, Sonoma County, lots of excellent restaurants. 20 minutes to ocean & Santa Rosa, 60 miles to San Francisco.
House has spacious living room/dining area & large master suite.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Only need a few days - one week stay at a time. A woman tenant in studio above garage, (usually gone 9am - 9pm.) Wonderful, helpful neighbors. Quiet area so sound travels - prefer no outdoor parties!
